Three members of the quintet, Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, and Normani Hamilton, called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday morning to tell us what they think of their chances at going home with their first-ever Moonman.
When they found out about their nomination (while traveling in a car), “We were so freaked out,” they tell us. “Everybody was screaming. Camila was in the back crying.”
Also in the fan-voted Artist to Watch category are Sam Smith, 5 Seconds of Summer, Charli XCX, and Schoolboy Q. Do they think they can beat them?
“I feel like anybody in the category is definitely deserving and worthy of the award … obviously, we want to win. Our Harmonizers go hardcore for us and I don’t put anything past them, so they could possibly make it happen.”
