Rixton Reveal What Song They Will Perform on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

Rixton phoned in to Gossip America on Tuesday morning and told us about their upcoming performance on So You Think You Can Dance.

Rather than performing their new chart-climbing single “Wait On Me,” the boys revealed that they will be performing their debut single, “Me and My Broken Heart.”


“We’re actually doing ‘Me and My Broken Heart,’ which we’re really, really excited about,” the four-piece band told guest host JoJo Wright, who is filling in for Ryan.

Not only will the UK quartet perform on Wednesday’s SYTYCD, the boys are scheduled to rock two sold-out shows at the El Rey Theatre on August 23 and 24. On top of their hectic schedule, they still managed to find some time to answer Tori Kelly‘s dare to complete the viral ALS ice bucket challenge.



The band, who is currently on their Me and My Broken Heart tour, also told JoJo and Ellen K. about their close brotherhood, after being asked to reveal something fans don’t know about them.

“We don’t really keep secrets. We don’t really keep secrets from each other,” they said. “We just kind of wear our hearts on our sleeves. We’re lucky guys who just kind of do our own thing.”
